Polish political and educational circles are mourning the loss of Krzysztof Sońta, a former member of the Polish Parliament and a dedicated teacher in Radom, who passed away at the age of 56. The announcement of his death was made by the Mayor of Radom, Radosław Witkowski, through social media, sparking widespread sorrow and tributes.
Krzysztof Sońta had an extensive career in the public sector. He served as an MP during the 6th and 7th parliamentary terms and was an active member of the Radom City Council from 1998 to 2007. In addition to his political contributions, Sońta was well-regarded for his work in education, most recently serving as the director of a primary school for children with special needs in Radom.
